Kindergarten also known as Kindy, is a part-time educational program for children in the year before Prep. Kindy is 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year and is Free for Queensland children attending a government approved Kindergarten Program.
Kindergarten programs are offered in long day care services, Kidi Kingdom Child Care centre is approved to offer and provide the Educational Kindergarten Program.
For our young children, Kindy provides a lifetime of opportunities. Kindy is a welcoming place where children make new friends, explore through play, nurture imagination and develop lifelong skills. By taking part in Kindy, our young children develop a love of learning and are ready for a strong start to education.
Free Kindy means you will have access to high-quality early education for your child without the burden of extra cost for the Kindy program.
