Message from the Early Learners Room |
Our Early
Learners have been reaching so many exciting milestones over the
past few months!. It has been wonderful to watch them grow and
develop as they begin to crawl, sit, walk and babble in each
achievement bringing so much joy and excitement.
December was a
magical month as we celebrated Christmas with a variety of fun
and engaging activities. The children loved getting creative
with Christmas crafts, exploring different textures in sensory
play and even trying their hands at some festive cooking. It was
a month full of laughter, learning and holiday cheer!
In January, we
continued the celebrations by learning about different cultural
events, including Chinese New Year and Australia Day. The
children enjoyed engaging in themed activities that introduced
them to new traditions, colours and sensory experiences, making
it an enriching start to the new year.
Looking ahead,
we are excited to explore the world of colours! Throughout the
next month, our little learners will be introduced to a variety
of colors through fun, hands on activities. To start, we will be
focusing on the color red, just in time to celebrate Valentine's
Day! We look forward to another month of growth, discovery and
colourful adventures.
Warm Regards,
Miss Tanvi and Miss McKenna Early Learners Educators

Message from the Junior Early Years Room |
I hope this
message finds you well!
My name is
Ginnu and I am a certified early childhood educator currently
pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
It is an
absolute privilege to work with your children in this
foundational stage of their learning journey. As an educator, I
am committed to creating a space where curiosity is nurtured,
relationships are built and every child feels valued.
Over the past
few months, we have seen beautiful bonds develop between the
children, whether they are new to the room or transitioning into
this space. It is heartwarming to see them forming connections
and building a sense of community.
We have been
busy with many hands on activities, from colouring, watering
plants, water play and sustainability projects, each fostering
creativity and learning in its own way. The children have also
been diving into colour recognition, alongside other fun and
educational activities that promote growth in all areas.
We are excited
for the coming months and the many more opportunities to learn,
explore and grow together.
Warm Regards,
Ms Ginnu Junior Early Years Educator

Message from
the Kindergarten Room |
Welcome Valued
Kindergarten Families,
In the
Kindergarten room the children have been showing a lot of
interest in exploring bugs and plants .The children have been
spontaneously searching for bugs around our playground during
outside play. The children have recently been observing the lady
bugs in our vegetable garden and their curiosity in the
vegetable plants was also sparked as they have been collecting
mint leaves and basil leaves exploring the scent of these
leaves. During group times the children have joined in
discussions about some of the life cycles of bugs and plants.
In the next
few weeks the children will be given the opportunities to
explore bugs through one of our newest resources, which are
microscopes and we will also be providing the children more
opportunities to engage in cooking/food preparation experiences
using a variety of vegetables and herbs which they will collect
for our vegetable garden. Some of the children have requested
that we make "mint ice cream" with the mint leaves, which is
also a great idea.
In the next
few weeks we will also be encouraging the children transitioning
to the Kindergarten room to develop a sense of belonging by
encouraging the children to participate in a variety of circle
games to promote positive friendships and enhance their
confidence and social skills.
Warm Regards,
Mrs Antonietta Kindergarten Teacher
