Do you require
support with your child care fees? Are you looking to work or
study?
The
information obtained from
www.dewr.gov.au/parentsnext indicates that
ParentsNext is a platform similar to ACCS, providing support for
individuals transitioning into work, training or education. It
includes assistance for self-employment and skill development
such as improving reading, writing, maths and computer skills
through the Skills for Education and Employment program and the
Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP).
To Apply for
ParentsNext, individuals work with a Provider who helps them
achieve their employment goals and provides support for access
to transport, childcare and affordable housing. One researched
Provider, Community Solutions in QLD, offers a practical and
supportive approach to overcoming barriers that may prevent
individuals from achieving their goals, such as access to
transport, childcare, and affordable housing. Additionally,
information about the Additional Child Care Subsidy for the
transition to work is available on
www.qld.gov.au/families/babies/childcare/rebates.
